Upbeat Live Acoustic Performer, Singer Song Writer, Producer, Sound Engineer & Host
Tom Lukas is the ‘full package’ upbeat solo live music performer, with over 15 years of professional live music and live sound engineering experience behind him. He doesn’t just bring the live music but also an amazing sound and lighting experience too.
He is an energetic performer that plays popular ‘sing-along’ live cover music gigs all over London, every weekend, with a plethora of genres and song choices chosen on the night to cater for the atmosphere and clientele.
Along side his hybrid acoustic/electric guitar, Tom extends his sound by using bass and vocal harmoniser pedals and a unique bass drum stomp box, along side a loop pedal to create the sound of multiple people playing and singing at once, also enabling him to play out classic solo’s. Making him the ultimate ‘one man live band’ to get you dancing and lose your voices to.
He also plays events and weddings and also runs a business providing professional open mic nights, London Unplugged.
Tom is a self taught multi-instrumentalist playing the guitar, bass, piano and drums and commonly refereed to as the “one man band”.
He studied a BTEC National Diploma in Music Practice in Cardiff where he received distinction grades. He then went on to become one of six students studying Creative Music Technology at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama receiving his BMus Bachelor Degree in Creative Music Technology.
He has been composing/playing music since he was a child and apart from performing on his own, he has played in several bands.
Tom is currently pursuing his passion of music and is currently playing venues around London as a solo upbeat act and running his company London Unplugged providing professional acoustic open mic nights.
Tom has appeared on a few radio stations, including Fubar Radio, GBK Radio, Croydon Radio, BBC Radio Wales Evening Show with Alan Thompson and has been on Radio Cardiff with Jeremy Rees and Big Scott.
He has self released debut singles ‘Body Drops’ and ‘small fish’ that are available on streaming platforms along side his studio recorded EP original material called ‘Back to Roots’.
